Syakar Trading Company is the authorized sole distributor of Honda bikes or scooters in Nepal. They belong to the Jyoti Group of companies, which has a long history in trading business. Honda bike first arrived in Nepal in 1968 A.D. when Jyoti Group imported 11 units and distributed. In 1976, they started their operation under the name of Syakar Company Limited, as a subsidiary company of Jyoti Group. Later company changed its name to Syakar Trading Company Private Limited on 7th June 2011, following the separation of Hero from Honda. Syakar Trading Company retained the distributorship of Honda and became 100% subsidiary of Honda. Whereas, Nepal General Marketing Private Limited (NGM) was formed which retained the distributorship of Hero bikes in Nepal.
Talking about Honda, it is a Japanese company and also the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. It’s logo “wings” has become the global identity of the company.
